Mark White, Metro Mechanical Managing Director, and 4 others, Steve Smith, Andrew Lee, Chris Howells, & Clifton Button have  decided to stop drinking, smoking and to get fit to train for a four day relay bike ride from The Greenman pub in Longfield, down to and around the South Coast, into Portsmouth, around the Isle of Wight and back again to raise money for Ellenor’s Hospice in Gravesend.
Organisations, such as Ellenor Hospice, offer help & Support through some of the hardest times for families and their loved ones.

The trek will be as follows-
Day (1)          29/03/2017
• Ride & Route:    Start GM (DA3 7AL) 6am through to Rye via Margate Beach and Folkestone Harbour. We need to achieve 123 miles to end up in Rye.

Day (2)          30/03/2017
• Ride & Route:    Start PI (TN37 7DB) 7am Rye through to Chichester Harbour via Eastbourne, Newhaven, Brighton Pier and Bognor Regis promenade and Chichester Harbour. We need to achieve 104 miles to end up in Chichester.

Day (3)          31/03/2017
• Ride & Route:    Start PI (PO19 8EL) 7am Chichester Harbour through to Portsmouth via Ryde IOW, Ventnor IOW, Freshwater IOW, Cowes IOW, Ryde IOW and Portsmouth Harbour. We need to achieve 80. miles to end up in Portsmouth.

Day (4)          01/04/2017
• Ride & Route:    Start PI (PO6 4SA) 7am Portsmouth Harbour back to Greenman via Haslemere, Guildford, Epsom and Greenman. We need to achieve 100 miles to end up at the GREENMAN!!

The total distance covered will be over 400 miles, that will be an amazing feat for us, this time we will let our body’s do the talking and feel very proud of what we hopefully will achieve.
