We are looking for an experienced Payroll Assistant to support our day-to-day transactions, including expenses and payroll. Assisting the Payroll administrator.
This is a part time position offered on a 20hrs per week contract – Monday – Friday 09.00 – 13.00
Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
Key Duties
• Checking engineer timesheets
• Support monthly payroll and keep organised records
• Recording all annual leave
• Provide administrative support to Payroll Administrator
Key Skills
➢ Previous payroll experience essential – minimum 2 years
➢ Working knowledge of Sage payroll
➢ Strong organisational skills
➢ A pleasant, confident telephone manner
➢ Computer literate – Word, excel
➢ The ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands and prioritise tasks and workload
➢ Diligent, attention to detail, ability to work on your own initiative, ability to deliver to tight deadlines
➢ Oral and written communication skills
➢ Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors
➢ Tact, discretion and respect for confidentiality
➢ Reliability and honesty;
➢ Full driving Licence

Experience:
➢ Work experience as a Finance Assistant, Finance Officer or similar role
➢ Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
➢ SAGE Payroll processing experience and SAGE Line 50
➢ HR experience an advantage but not essential

Payroll Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to maintain our payroll system, including expenses.
Salary dependent on experience
Key Duties
• Setting up new payroll clients, inputting starter and leaver details
• Checking engineer timesheets
• Recording all annual leave
• Processing P45s, starter declarations, P60s
• Calculating/processing of SMP, SSP, SPP and other statutory payments/deductions
• Processing of payroll and submitting RTI reports to HMRC within required timescales.
• Calculating and processing of pension contributions including set up and administration of schemes under auto enrolment
• Resolving payroll related queries
Key Skills

We are looking for an experienced person with Visio (or similar) experience
The position is based at our Head Office in Gravesend
Monday – Friday 9.00 – 17.00

Reporting to the Director – Surveying Division

You will be required to carry out all tasks requested to completion and report back to the requestor that the work is complete

Main Duties:

 Produce a site/drainage plans on Visio from manual drawings

Further Duties

 Answer the telephone
 General administrative duties to support the team
 Any other duties as requested by members of the team as necessitated by the needs of the business
 Any other tasks that are requested

Key Skills:

 Good IT Skills – graphics/design
 Basic knowledge of Visio/CAD or similar – full training will be given
